Our story
How Madallion Caring Support Was Born
When Medallion’s mom suffered multiple strokes, her world changed overnight. The vibrant woman who once filled every room with laughter suddenly lost the ability to walk, talk, and care for herself.
Her mother had three daughters — each trained to care for others — who never imagined they would one day need those same skills for their own mom. But without hesitation, they came together and made a vow: to keep their mother out of a nursing facility and surround her instead with unconditional love and care at home.
Then, tragedy struck again. The eldest daughter — the family’s anchor — passed away shortly after their mother’s strokes. The loss was devastating, but the two remaining sisters found strength in each other and their shared devotion.
The middle daughter, always a wanderer at heart, had a love for new places and fresh experiences. Though she often traveled, she never stayed away from her mother for long. When she decided to move to Lexington, North Carolina, with her godmother and godsisters, she brought her mom along — determined never to leave her behind, even if it meant starting over in an unfamiliar town.
Life in Lexington was not easy. Caring for her mother alone, facing financial struggles, and trying to find a way forward tested her in every way. But through faith and determination, she pressed on.
Then, in the midst of her challenges, God gave her a vision — to start a business that would allow her to continue caring for the elderly while keeping her mother by her side. That vision became Madallion Caring Support, a company built on compassion, faith, and resilience.
With the support of her youngest sister, her son, and her loving spouse, the middle daughter turned hardship into hope. Through Madallion, she not only provided for her family but also created a lasting legacy — one that honors her mother’s strength and continues to bring care, comfort, and dignity to seniors in need
